Tuberculosis researchers in KwaZulu-Natal have expressed concern that many people are still not tested for the disease which is the leading cause of death in South Africa. It’s a global problem with an estimated nine-thousand people missing out on tests.

The Mass TB Screening Campaign is a three year campaign being undertaken and run by government and USAID to promote the prevention, screening and treatment of TB in South Africa. Today Gerry Elsdon and Phumeza Tisile join forces as ambassadors for the campaign – bringing the message and their stories worldwide!
