Latent TB Treatment Videos
TB Proof has been working in partnership with Treatment Action Group (TAG) to strengthen TB Preventive Therapy access in South Africa. As part of this project, TB Proof developed TB Preventive Therapy (TPT) awareness campaign videos in order to increase awareness and demand for TPT in affected communities.
Dr Ruvandhi Nathavitharana (TB Proof member and Infectious Disease Specialist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School in Boston) answers questions on TB Preventive Therapy and Latent TB Infection.
Andréa von Delft tells us about her journey with TB, after her husband was diagnosed with TB. Although Andrea, didn’t test positive for TB, she encourages household TB contacts to get tested for TB and to take TB Preventive Therapy.
Jacques and Kalika’s 1-year old son had to take TB Preventive Therapy. In this video, they tell us more about their experience with TB Preventive Therapy.
